Jim has spent a career working with global brands. As Managing Partner at Davis & Partners Worldwide jim oversees a growing collective of allied companies and consultants servicing clients in over 22 countries. In 2004, Jim founded D&P, originally named Life Ventures, after a highly successful 25-year career in advertising and international marketing. Life Ventures began as a small boutique digital marketing agency serving clients such as The Walt Disney Company, ESPN, Philips, Sephora and PepsiCo.Jim and Life co-founder Tom Zawacki’s special expertise grew out of the previous nine years the two spent helping build ModemMedia into one of the most successful global digital agencies in the world. Jim and Tom were instrumental in Modem’s successful IPO
in 1999.

In 2007, Life Ventures spun off the social commerce software company Lemonade, and its consumer website, lemonade.com, was voted the #1 website of 2007 by Time Magazine as well as being featured on NBC’s Today Show. Life Ventures changed its name to Davis & Partners to recognize the addition of award-winning designer Jennifer Griffith and internationally recognized screenwriter and creative director Stephen Wunderli to the partnership, expanding D&P’s expertise into print, package design, and television from its core strengths in digital.

In 2010 D&P continued its global expansion, opening sister agency B21 in Sao Paulo under new partner Nico Riggio’s leadership as well as opening Davis|Edwards Entertainment in Los Angeles. D&P also established alliances in the UK and Asia. In late 2010 the company name was changed to Davis & Partners Worldwide to reflect the growth of a small freelance syndicate in 2004 into a multi-national creative collective with clients in major cities around the world.

Jim and his wife Christie have four children and live in Connecticut. In his private time Jim is an avid runner and enjoys tennis and cooking.
